    Default Taxes and insurance

Hi..great informative site..My daughter is in the planning process of going to Don Quijote school in seville for 1 month and then working in a hotel as an intern.. She has a BS in Spanish but is having trouble passing the OPI..oral test required to receive teaching certificate from state of NJ.We did private tutoring etc..and beleive 2 months in spain should do the trick. While I have numerious questions..my first couple are...When she is working as an intern and receieves a paycheck, will she get a w-4 like here in the states and then include it on her US tax return? Also I believe she can transfer her medical insurance from the states to spain..are there any issues with doing it this way? Thanks

I haven't got a clue about the US tax system, but if she is on a contract, she will be paying Spanish tax. As for medical insurance, I would suggest you contact the insurer. I had a problem with my private medical insurance paying for treatment I had in the UK (I was living in Hong Kong at the time) Although both companies were called Bupa international, Bupa UK refused to pay out on Bupa HK policies.
