Default how much can you expect to earn as a mechnic

hi my partner is a fully qulified mechnic on any think with wheels and a engine he is also a vosa regestered mot tester , has an iab licence and is trained to do recovery on both cars and wagons.how much can you expect to earn and will it be easy to find a job

Hi Jayne, I suppose your partner is best off working for himself, otherwise I cannot imagine him finding a job in a local garage very easily... Many people who move out to Spain, decide to set up their own business... Has he considered this?

and for being a foreigner wanting to own his own bussiness the government may give some money to help the bussiness start

I can't speak regarding wages, but a few of our local garages employ English speaking mechanics.. You need to be in an area where there are plenty of Brits living.
