Hi all
Me and my husband have been thinking of moving to spain for the last few years, we have three children all under four and are thinking of moving within the next two years. Our oldest child has been attending a spainish nursery for the last two years so has an understanding of the laungage. The thing that concerns us the most is what my husband would do for work, he is a gas engineer and we know that it is bottled gas at present but have heared that they are laying pipe lines for natual gas. Would like to know if there would be any need of gas engineers in the future. Any advice would be great. bernie |

Not sure about other parts of Spain but in Barcelona "Gas Natural" is huge and in many households. Surely as an official company certified worker your husband would need to speak Spanish (here surely Catalan as well) but as a freelance perhaps he could service gas installations for expats.
