    Unhappy working when pregnant

    ive recently moved here and just after leaving my job in england and we were packed nd ready to move i found out i was pregnant. im now 19wks and am of the understanding that if i want benefit after the baby i have to worh here b4 the baby. can anyone confirm this as i dont think im going to get a job when pregnant

    Hiya

    As far as I am aware you are not entitled to any child / unemployments benefits unless you have worked here in Spain first. You will obviously need health cover, have you got an E106 so you and your family can see the doctor? If not you need to apply and if you have then you should be covered for up to 2 years.
