Feria de Julio in Valencia - July Fair
Well its now upon us, the July Fair in Valencia, Feria de Julio. Every saturday night the beach comes alive with an amazing atmosphere with a spectacular firework display at midnight. Concerts in the Viveros Garden include Anastasia, Miguel Bose and many more, Jazz festivals, Ludo championships, moros and cristianos, medieval markets and much much more. Sounds great, we don't have anything down here like that ( at least I have not been aware of of any) maybe when we have more free time we can go to some of these great events.

Hi Val, yeah Iīm looking forward to it. Tonight its the medieval fair on the beach and on saturday, from the pictures, it looks like "El Cid" will be doing battle on horseback on the beach! canīt wait.
Also looking forward to the Miguel Bose and Anastasia concerts in the Vivero gardens. Tonights concert is a group called "Fangoria" didnīt think I knew them, until I saw a photo today on the bus and their lead singer is "Alaska" who I have heard of and like her music. But with work tomorrow not sure I will make it.
We seem to have lots of festivals here in Valencia, they tend to celebrate for the other regions aswell!
When my husband goes part time in preparation for retirementwe are planning to come up and have look in the Valencia area to see if it ticks the boxes for our retirement. El Cid event some spectular !
