    Default Looking for long-term rental in Sitges area

    My Wife an I are planning to move to Spain next year. Ideally, we like the Sitges area. We have seen properties from Sitges to Gava and really liked it up in the mountains near the Buddhist monastery. Anyone on the forum live up in in the hills near Plana Novella? We are wondering what it is like, as you are a bit disconnected from stores and life down by the sea...

    Also, if there are some good realtors for this sort of thing, we are open to talking. Have been in touch with Engel & Voelkers and EasySitges so far.

    Welcome to the Absolute Spain Forum!

    Sitges is a very nice place! I don't know Plana Novella personally but from what I see on Google Maps its not that close to Sitges... I suppose something completely different. More rural and less crowded...

    There are quite a few big names in Sitges real estate. Fincas la Clau being one of the most established. I suggest you also look at the big Spanish property portals Idealista.com and Fotocasa.es as they will most likely have a more diverse set of opportunities than a real estate agency...

    Spanish Property 2012


    Thanks for the welcome, Greg. There is an unpaved road down to Sitges that is about 8-9 km. Haven't taken it yet, but can see it on Google Maps/Earth. And another paved road down to Castelldefels. So we are a bit isolated, but that is ok!

    Will have a look at the realtor sites that you mentioned.
