Yes! I've needed mine to rent my house, to get signed onto the electricity, to make any big purchases, when I've taken my children to the doctors, when I signed my daughter into school, when I bought a mobile phone, I even needed it when a friend of mine was stopped by the police the other day! I wasnt even driving and the guardia were just doing spot checks, but they wanted to see my HIE, my drivers licence and my parents names WTF????
