Default Moving to Spain for 6 months

    Hi, everybody,
my husband is going to Spain for 5.5 months for studying. I would like to follow him and get a Schengen visa for 150 days a half a year. A tourist multivisa allows to be in Schengen only for 90 days a half a year. As far as I understand, two other variants for me are: residential visa with no right to work; and a student visa for 6 months.
Maybe you can tell me any other ways to stay in Spain for 6 months or suggest any cheap ways of studying in Madrid for 6 months? Thank you.

Good morning Mariona, welcome to the Absolute Spain Forum. I am sure some of our members will have a few suggestions as to the possible methods.

Mariona, you haven't mentioned which nationality you are. It does make a difference in what you need.

Mariona, Maybe Russia are thinking of joining the EC. Then again, maybe not.

    Good luck in your application.
