    Smile Schools in Spain?

I have 4 children (aged 7, 5, twins are 3), and would like to know about schooling for them. We currently homeschool (here in America), but would like our kids to attend regular school once we move to Spain.

Does anyone have any experience with this?

    Default international schools in Spain

There are many inernational schools in Spain, especially in Barcelona, Madrid, Costa Blanca, and Costa del Sol. Here you can get more information, also about Spanish State schools:

Me and my family moved here to Spain August 08 and i have 2 younger sisters aged 10 and 13 and a younger brother aged 5. We had searched for bilingual throughout Spain but in the end decided on sending them to a local Spanish school. My little brother was the only english speaking person in his class and found it really hard for the first few months but now we cant keep him away, he is already a fluent speaker of the language and one of the favourites in the class.
Education wise the schools are very thorough, even at 5 years old my brother gets homework every two days covering all they are doing in class - which is helpful for parents as they get to learn with their children too

Your children are at an age where they will learn the spanish language quickly (if they donīt know it already) so Spanish state school should be ideal. My daughter was 3 when we moved here and, with a little preparation before the move, she was fluent in no time. The spanish education system is very thorough and your children should fit in quickly.
