Default You will find (nearly) all UK products you may wish!

Hi, I have never used this service, but it's true: in the area Benidorm and also Torrevieja (South) are a lot of British shops offering whatever you want from the uk; other shops: products from Germany, Russia, and much more .... O.k., the Spanish MERCADONA and other shopping centers may be cheaper ...

I can't comment on the areas you specifically mention but even up here in the north of the Costa Blanca, where there are also lots of ex-pats, there are shops run by Brits selling virtually everything you would be able to buy in the UK......at a price! There are "Quicksave" shops and even a branch of Iceland! The Spanish supermarkets like Mercadona and Masymas have also spotted the potential and are staret to stock UK brands.

However, I would say to you that if you go into Spanish supermarkets like the ones I've mentioned, you will find local brands that are just as good and a lot cheaper. True - you will not find the Spanish equivalent of Marmite, Branston pickle or tea bags as good as PG Tips. But if you have decided to live in Spain, you ought to be thinking about integrating and eating more local food - it's much fresher and cheaper. I weaken occasionally and I DO like Marmite on my toast in the mornings but 90% of our food cupboard is stocked with local stuff.

The same applies to eating out - avoid the English-run restaurants, especially on the coast, and head for the Spanish establishments where the welcome will be warm and you will learn to love paella and whatever is served up on their excellent value "menu de dias" at €9 or €10.

    Good luck!

Yes i belive these company are very good to meet your english needs. But then agian when the spainish econamy has grown which it will with no doubt at all in the next 10 years there will be 24 hour tesco's there selling everything we have in the UK. I belive the most useful thing is really clothes shopping and gift shopping via the uk shopping company, as spain is not to good for them, many thanks.

I live near Sevilla and have seen many 'British' goods around here, including salad cream, Tetley tea bags ( better than PG) Heinz beans, Marmite Nescafe Cappucino Coffee, Tuc crackers good choice of British cheeses, HP sauce Heinz Tomato Sauce and more. They can be found in Carrefour, El Corte, Super Sol and two shops in Ayamonte that specilise in British goods.

I have never used the shop you mention. I find plenty of good quality good tasting foods here.

UK shopping in Spain is I believe a parcel delivery service for goods purchased by you in the UK, they then ship them to your door in Spain for a fee, unless, like me, you live in the campo, in which case it is totally useless.
