Remember, "One doesn't say 'cock' one says 'co'." (Just as well this isn't 'elsewhere'.)

I found six bottle in Euromarket once and bought them all. I haven't seen it here since.

What about when all your friends and relatives decend upon you, Lidls and Finckerbrau seem a good option at the rate these persons drink!!!!!!

Hmmm....there´s people on here who won´t shop at Lidl or Aldi - ummm...why??? Lidl's has nice smoked ham and feta cheese and the cheapo Baileys substitute that tastes near enough like Baileys!!!

And, Beachcomber, why do you avoid Mercadona? It´s easily the best of the Spanish supermarkets and, yes, the Dunmhor cheddar is very nice. Consum is alright but not wonderful and Carrefour is a nightmare - too damn big and doesn´t have all the stuff I want. I tend to eat local food. There´s a Brit supermarket here for bits and pieces that I want but nothing I couldn´t live without. I do like my oatcakes though!

We have looked in Lidl and Aldi and have not seen anything that I wanted to buy. We shop between Carrefour and Hipercor for most of our food, our local Super Sol has a great selection of soft cheeses. Mercadona does a great marinated pork joint at a super price.

Each to their own.

Aaaa thought you were having some kind of aversion to it on other grounds LOL! I certainly wouldn´t do my weekly shop at Lidl but they do have bits and pieces that are nice and some of the non-food gizmos they get in are great value. Not got Hipercor or Super sol here and the local Carrefour is so enormous you´re tired just looking at it never mind walking around it!!!
