Tax contribution transfer from Spain to UK

Hi,

I've been living & working in Spain 12 years and looking to return to UK next year. Does anyone know if the tax contribution paid in Spain is transferable to UK? if so please post where one should go to do this.

Hi Van you might want to give the Inland Revenue a call to check out the situation. It certaily doesn't work the other way but UK side you never know..... ;-)

Hi, Many thanks....forgot the obvious!. I've been informed by my gestor here in Barcelona that taxes paid are not transferable. Though I do take his advice as a grain of salt.

Will check out the Inland Renv.
