Hiya, I am planning on moving to Madrid by the end of summer and was wondering how easy it will be to find work there. I speak very little Spanish. Might take a course to improve it.... Preferably looking for work in the hospitality industry....

Hi prentt55 welcome to the Absolute Spain Forum!
Madrid is a great place (except for in summer... Then its faaaar to hot therehehehe...). Joke aside, if you want to work in Spain, then your best bet is always to learn Spanish... Your chances of landing something better paid are much higher!
Nevertheless you may find work as an English teacher in Madrid and not need a word of Spanish for it... Or you may find work with one of the numerous English speaking companies there...
A job in the hospitality industry in Madrid maybe somewhat tougher. There may be very few places that only cater for foreigners. Even the local Irish pubs also cater for Spanish people, so knowing a word or two would help!

Hello I am from Madrid and have many expat friends here. It is very difficult to find good work for them. Note that jobs in bars are available as well as other "small jobs" but it all takes a lot of effort to scrape together a decent amount of money. You have to be creative and very motivated!
