    Question Will Atlético Madrid move to Estadio La Peineta?

    Hi everyone. I started religiously watching Atlético Madrid home games.

    Is it true that Atlético will be moving into the newly renovated Estadio La Peineta in 2012? Is it true that Estadio Vicente Calderón will be demolished?

    Does anyone know for sure? Has anyone heard any news on this?

    Spanish Property 2012


    Yes Atleti are moving to that new stadium. One can only assume the Calderon will be demolished and flats built upon the site.

    There will be cover aswell, I'm sure if you've been to the Calderon on a wet evening you'll know it isn't the most fun place to be.
