PP party I think and lord knows how they will deal with the young unemployed, I read they are starting to move away and many more may follow. The poor will be much poorer with more cuts and no system in place to help crime is likely to rise. A grim time ahead, the average wage here is frighteningly low so any further measures will mean real hardship.

A major issue we have in our region is that the local government haven't paid their sub-contractors who in turn haven't paid their employees and sub-contractors........it's a rippling effect and morally wrong. Latbus is the latest company to have filed for bankruptcy protection because the local government haven't paid them.

The other side of that is that at the bottom of the food chain many can't afford to pay their taxes as they haven't been paid by their employer because local government hasn't paid said employer.....
Thinks that if all economists were laid end to end, they would not reach a conclusion

Yes it looks like PP will lead the way...

I can imagine first thing will be harsh austerity...

Yes this is so in many places... Thousands if not hundreds of thousands of SMEs are waiting to have their bills paid by none other than the local governments!
