Young UK drivers in Spain
My daughter (19 yrs old) has just passed her driving test in the UK. Does anyone know if there are any restrictions to her driving my car in Spain. Subject to insurance of course.
I know that if a Spanish person passes their test in Spain, they must have a "L" plate in the rear window for 1 year but does this apply to someone who has passed their test in the UK?

Having spoken with both National and Guardia Police, both who couldnt give me an answer!!! I put a "L" in the back window, made sure she was insured and off we went!! My daughter has now returned to the UK so it is no longer applicable but thank you anyway.
