I came across a small advert in the Costa Blanca news. "Free coach trip and Wild West Show" run By The Famous Green Tour. Well I thought there might be a catch but went along anyway. We had a fantastic day out !
We were piced up by the coach by Carrefour in Torrevieja, we made futher pick ups in La Marina and Gran Alicant , then it was off to Alfaz del Pi. We where told on the coach what was to happen next and there was no surprises or high pressure sales.
Once we arrived at our destination we were greeted by a glass of moscatel and a piece of chocolate. Were were given a small 10 min lecture on some of the products available in the shop. May I say i was impressed by the products and purchased a few. As many others did. We where then directed into another room we where given a beer or a sangria and a lecture on quality bedding the benefits etc. for 30 mins. I again was impressed by the products and if I was feeling rich would have easily parted with some more money for the quality products.
Then we were directed to the outdoor area where the Wild West show was going to take place. We were sat at long wooden benches and the bar was open and we waited for our turn to go up for a barbeque (6€ each)
Once we had eaten our pork , sausages , burgers and potatoes the show started. What a laugh the show was great entuhsiasm from the actors and from the 200 strong crowd. We made a few friends that day.
So we had a full day out from 10 am till 7pm for 6 euro each plus drinks. Sorry cant remember how many drinks I had becuase it was by the Jug.
On the coach home all said they had a great day out.
