Some people - especially in the UK - sneeringly refer to the Costa Blanca or parts of it, as 'Britsville'. I have never really understood what their problem is as the only ones who mention it - are Brits themselves! Work that one out.
Of course people prefer to mix with their own kind; feeling most comfortable in their own communities; people who have so much in common including a shared language. What could be more natural? Pakistanis do it; presumably the Japanese; certainly those of African descent.
For the rest of us who have a curiousity about the different world, fine: All you have to do is do a left turn and head for the hills. Brisville? Turn right! It isn't too difficult. In this way you get the best of both worlds. Live and let live IMHO.
