Anyone here using a Blackberry regularly in Spain? Can they be used with any service provider? Any assistance re: best tarif to use for emails and browsing would be appreciated.

Hi Val. Just about recovered now thanks. Great time on the camino and the camping at El Rocio was great. We had some lovely neighbours there with a huge family and they called us in for several delicious traditional meals. The old girl's paella (cooked for 50 people) was the highlight Singing, dancing and lots of boozing. Typical Spanish religious festival really

Next year, when we're retired, come with us. We've got loads of camping gear and the Defender is great fun in the deep sand. Had some interesting challenges with the Sankey trailer towing behind this time. Not as many pictures this year an in previous pilgrimages. See you soon.

Pity. However, before buying our house over here, I bought my Spanish SIM from 0044.co.uk. They seem quite clued up on the Spanish mobile scene so, as an existing customer, I have sent the query to them. I'll post any reply here.

My husband uses a blackberry but it is a work phone so I canīt provide info on tariffs but can say the phone works fine. He is on movistar and gets very good coverage.

If you go into somewhere like the phone warehouse (in most commercial centres) you can get a booklet which provides all the tariffs so you can compare.

Good luck hope you find a good provider.
