My wife and I just put the summer quilt back on our bed because it has turned so cold of a night time. When is summer really going to start?

You're obviously living in the wrong part of Spain. Here on the Costa Blanca, daytime temps. regulary hit 30C in the shade and it doesn't dip much below 20 at night.

It is hot here at nights too, just a sheet or nothing, windows open. They are forecasting a HOT summer in Spain.

We live about 40 miles north of Granada (still some snow on the Sierra) and yes it IS chilly at night and not so hot during the day. Make the most of it because when it gets hot IT GETS HOT.

We don't like it too hot which is why we are up in the mountains in the south of Jaen province (but well clear of the Guadalquivir Depression) where it is regularly 10-15 degrees lower than on the coast

The summer quilt came off again last night, back to just a sheet. A temporary aberation in the weather. It is hot , hot ,hot just now. Just what the doctor ordered.

Summer quilt still on here but have taken the blanket off - temperature still only 20 at night. You'll stay cooler if you keep windows and shutters closed during the hottest part of the day - keeps the hot air out! Watch what the Spanish do!
