    Default Desperate for advice

Hi everyone. First I just want to say what a great site has been set up here and I hope it continues to grow.

We have a problem and I hope someone out there may know their way around a little more than us.

Due to a long and complicated series of events involving banking in another country we have found ourselves in a serious position of cash flow. We own our house here but we dont want to re-mortgage or anything like that. What we are trying to find is a short term Money lender, many available in the UK but cant find any here.

Basically, we need to raise as little as 1500 euros until February when all our other issues are resolved.

We have a car and all the usual things but dont really want to sell them just to get through the next couple of months.

If anyone has any suggestions, please let us know.

    Many thanks in advance.

Hi Spirit what about using a pawn broker or maybe withdrawing a cash advance from a credit card.....alternatively do you have the option of a mortgage holiday or an overdraft facility?

thanks for that, This has been going on for some weeks now and has not been resolved yet, hence that is why we ran out of cash. Card is to the max and , although we have no mortgage, this is only a short term issue so mortgaging isnt an option. Thanks for replying anyway.

Spirit I searched on the web and found solbank in spain do bridging loans check out this:

    The Solbank Team
    Recommended by: L.J. Rondel, UK

    Dear Solbank,

Recently I needed a short-term/bridging loan as I had bought a property and then needed to sell the previous one.

I visited the Solbank office in Estepona, when I met Nacho Cabrera, the Assistant Manager. He explained the procedures and terms – all fair and not complicated. In fact everything happened exactly as he told me and we have now come to a satisfactory conclusion on the property transactions.
You have a competent, friendly and smartly-dressed staff in Estepona, obviously a formula for success.
