hi looking for advice on how spanish leasehold works .if the leasehold is say 20.000 on a 5 year lease is that 20k every year for 5 years .? or 20k an its yours for 5 years thanks

I suggest you read this article: Leasehold versus Freehold businesses it will give you a good understanding of how leasehold works in Spain.

Nevertheless, don't forget everything will and can be ultimately determined by the leasehold and rental contracts you sign.

What exactly are you planning on buying?

What can the family do? What are your passions? What are your skills?

i.e. Don't buy a bar if you hate to cook ro smile... Don't run a hairdresser if you... etc.... What businesses have you looked at?
