I have never been to Mojacar, what is it like ? You have a casa rural ?

Hello, yes the forum is great.
Mojacar and Almeria is quite interesting still with a lot of "charm", rural atmosphere, tradition, unexpoiled, good gastronomy, a lot of beaches and calas in natural conditions...
Yes we own and run "Cortijo Pocio de la Nava" B&B.
Now we want to sell it, children are now teenagers and we need to change the course...
Perhaps you can give us some ideas.

Are you looking to move away from Spain or just a change in business and location? Perhaps a move to one of the big cities might be something for you and the teenagers? Madrid or Barcelona?

Hola Cale58, and welcome. I have spent a bit of time in Mojacar. I love Garrucha, I think it great, really Spanish. I have a holiday place inland from you in Galera Granada.

.... my older son 16 y.o is already living in Madrid, he is focused on tennis competition and daily training with federación Madrileña de Tenis, my daughter is 14 y.o and crazy with horses ( me joined in this 18 months ago).
Well everything depends on the sale, but we have to do something and not only be retired... horses,tennis, hospitality ... putting everything together and ideas start to come to mind.

My daughter 14 is also crazy about horses. My wife and Jess have one each and go to all the fiestas on them.

Great, perhaps someday you can pay a visit here for a riding excursion, Daniela and me also have our horses... this afternoon we have to bring them back home from the hipica, so 3 hours riding.
