Personally, my expertise is pensions, tax and other financial issues. You might like to check my website which also has a link to mt blog. Theres no charges or fees, just financial information

Hi Cheryll, welcome from me also. Where about are you heading for ? have you been there or anywhere in Spain before and how is your spanish ? are you coming alone or with family ?
I moved here having never been anywhere in Spain, never mind abroadno spanish neither BUT I was moving to live with a great man who had been here many years and had a good command of the language. Since he died I have struggled at times but now looking to the future, here in Spain. Right now I am high in the mountains and not wanting to come down. I normally live near Sevilla.
Look forward to seeing you around the forum, loads to read, do a search for the things you want to know and ask inthe relevant places..... happy planning it does need lots of that and research. Mucho dinero helps too :-)

Hi Cheryll
Good luck from us too. Mucho dinero isn't always needed: we are pensioners and had lunch out today for 3.50€!!! We had a salad between us, 3 courses each, bread, glass of wine and small bottle of la casera. You wouldn't get that in the UK!!!

Menu del dia today cost us Euros 10 per person but it was beachfront as Casa Miguel ;-)
BTW hello and welcome from me too.

Hi everyone really nice to meet you all and hear from you all, im coming to spain bacause its always been my dream to do this. val ive been to a few places in spain we're heading for somewhere on the costa del sol, there are lots of places to rent first and then have a look around to decide where we would like to settle. we're learning spanish at the moment so hopefully by the time we get there we will have some basics. i will be coming out with my famliy, my mum myself my son and daughter in law and my grandaughter and granson. so any infomation or advice about schools would be good. mum is well in to her bingo and lieks to socialise with people or own age.
cheryll.

Good luck on your visit, and welcome to the forum...We seem to be lacking in contributory members from the Costa del Sol area..I don't think our current members can give you much information on that area. However, if you do searches on previous posts, you will find a lot of information.

hey cheryll, not sure if you mean Spanish schools or English schools... Here's a few international schools on the Costa del Sol:
