For schools for children, I would recommend El Centro Ingles (El Centro Ingles - Colegio ingles - The English Centre - Language school). This is a private bilingual school, recently ranked the best private school in all of Andalucia!
If you personally wish to learn more Spanish, I would reccommend that you try Bright Spark Spanish | Spark your language in Spain! this school caters for adults and offers a rang of courses.
It is also quite close to el centro ingles, so you could be near your kids.
I agree.. food here is very resonably priced and super tasty!!! Clothes and shoes seem generally cheaper than in the UK, but personally, I have found things like make up to be more expensive!
I think watching DVD´s in Spanish before you get here would be a great idea too.. that way you could tune your ear to the language!
