I have recently set up a website promoting all things eco and renewable here in Spain. Started off as a hobby but now is taking up quite a bit of my time!
A lot to do here in Alicante City and surrounding area! Well worth a visit near the end of June when the "Hogueras" take place!
I just googled Hogueras and had to laugh ! celebrating summer coming with bonfires a bit of a daft idea with all the precautions they take to PREVENT FIRES

It´s a great 4 or 5 days. The firemen actually do a very good job in controlling the fires, at times under tricky conditions. Not so sure though letting children loose with fireworks is such a great idea...
