    Hola everyone. My name is Ken and I live in New York City.

    I'm visiting Spain and Portugal this summer. So I'll be on here with lots of questions regarding Spain and its culture.

    I'm really looking forward to seeing Barcelona and Madrid.

    Welcome to the forum....

    Here's my two pennies worth.......Madrid is ok and well worth a visit but Barce is fantastic.......great shops, history, cafe culture, street artists......
    Thinks that if all economists were laid end to end, they would not reach a conclusion

    Welcome to the Absolute Spain Forum, I hope you enjoy your stay with us.

    Spain and Portugal are great places. If you go to Madrid in summer you will find it extremely hot (at least that's how I felt last time in August)... Barcelona on the other hand being directly by the sea is great.... Where else will you be visiting?

    Hello and welcome, visit Sevilla it has great architecture, history, sports, great bars, parks, a wonderful old town with even more more great bars If you get a chance to visit Ayamonte near the Spanish / Portugese border then look up a man called Jag he does great authentic indian curries, onion bajis etc

    Barcelona is a great city that offers something for everyone. Whether you are a sunseeker or wish to explore the architecture and culture it is perfect. In summertime there are lots of events and concerts in the city that could be of interest as well.
