I have travelled extensively throughout Spain. I am a city person and thus, remain somewhat stuck in the Barcelona-Madrid loop.

Yet, I found Bilbao, St. Sebastain, Sevilla, Cadiz, Cordoba, Jerez, Tarragona and Stiges well-worth visiting.

I am off to Valencia for the next weekend and though it is a repeat visit after many years, I am very much looking forward to it. All the Valencia tips are welcome. Thanks.

Visited Ronda in Andalucia as my last weekend away before I moved back to the UK. It was stunning. The sheer drops either side of the viaduct take your breath away.

Weekend just gone, went with a group of friends to Bejis, its a natural park area with drinking water running free! Home of the bottled "Bejis Agua"
After a grand paella cooked over a wood fire, (in a safe "paellero" not in the woods of course) we climbed down to the river from the picnic area and cooled off under the beautiful waterfall.
Then of cooled off even further in the nearby campsite bar! Wouldn´t be a Spanish day out without the cerveza!

Great time, going back to nature.

Obviously barcelona and madrid are popular spain vacation destinations, but I think there are a ton of other nice areas. I was in valencia this summer for example, and I thought that it was great. It was a really relaxed time, the city centre is cute, and there is great culture and food. The beach isn't the most beautiful, but it's definetely enjoyable and the whole boardwalk along the beach has a ton of great restaurants and neat bars. I also hear valencia has a great nightlife, though I didn't actually experience that myself

I also love to spend my holiday vacation in Barcelona, this is really one of the beautiful places of Spain, and I always like to go with my friends group. You should also go there. One more thing you can find there, one of beautiful and cheapest price apartment for your vacation stay.

I have travelled Spain extensively...Spain has so much to offer, the Spanish are very friendly people.

As I child I went to the Costa Brava every year.

I prefer inland Spain and finding secret places.

I have been to loads of fiestas, romerias and music festivals all over.

Cities: Cordoba, Logrono, Madrid, Taragona, Sevilla, Granada, Murcia, Barcelona, Valencia, Malaga, Jerez, Cadiz, Alicante, Marbella,

Islands: Formentera, Ibiza, Mallorca, Fuerteventura, Cabrera

I have driven the whole coast from Barcelona to Cadiz, and from San Sebastian to Asturias.
