well i am starting this thread due to the fact that i have been asked about hotels in and around Madrid many times over the internet, now i dont claim to be an expert on this subject but i do know a fair bit about it. So here we go if you are looking for a nice budget hotel in Madrid then your best option would be the Hostal A. Nebrija which is along the Gran Via this hotel is very small but comes with alot of charm. As for the higher end of the budget as in 3 star plus hotels there are a few hotels that are vary good in this area such as, the Hotel Abba Atocha which is on the Paseo Santa María de la Cabeza, this area is a very exclusive part of Madrid and great to stay in also the rates are very reasonable and has been refurbished impeccably.
