The final programme for the Feria y Fiestas de Agosto has just been published. Has any one been bull running
If I am in a street when a bull is in it iI would run, but if I knew one was there, I wouldn't be in that street. I watched a lad being killed by one on TV recently. Thats as near as I want to be.

We had a works Barbeque on a Finca / Farm a few years ago. They brought a baby bull into a paddock, and the idea was the lads where to run across the paddock without getting rammed by the bull. Well I saw a few guys do it without injury so I thought after a few red wines I would make a run for it. So I jumped into the ring, ran for my life across the ring, but got a great big push in my bum as the bull got me , It threw me right up in the air and out of the ring, I landed still running WITH my plastic cup of wine Still in hand intact. Never again. Even the baby bull is scary.
I was not born silly and trying to stay that way !

I believe that there are fiestas in Murcia city at the beginning of September.
