Thread: Places to visit in Spain

If you are coming to the South of Spain then there are these places to keep you busy and interested;

1. The highest mountains and peaks on the Spanish mainland, the 'Sierra Nevada' and it's ski resorts.
2. The Cathedral, La Giralda and the palace of Real Alcazar in Seville.
3. The elegant Moorish palace of “the Alhambra” in Granada.
4. “La Mezquita”, the Grand Mosque in Cordoba.
5. The historic port of Cadiz.
6. Ronda, the birthplace of bullfighting and one of the largest of the so called 'white villages' of Andalucia scattered throughout the region.
7. The 'Cabo de gata' natural park.

The Sierra Nevada mountains near Granada are worth a visit, both in summer and winter. The ski resort is one of the highest in Europe so in winter the sun can be very strong so take high factor sunscreen!
