Places to visit in Spain - Page 4

If you are coming to the South of Spain then there are these places to keep you busy and interested;

1. The highest mountains and peaks on the Spanish mainland, the 'Sierra Nevada' and it's ski resorts.
2. The Cathedral, La Giralda and the palace of Real Alcazar in Seville.
3. The elegant Moorish palace of “the Alhambra” in Granada.
4. “La Mezquita”, the Grand Mosque in Cordoba.
5. The historic port of Cadiz.
6. Ronda, the birthplace of bullfighting and one of the largest of the so called 'white villages' of Andalucia scattered throughout the region.
7. The 'Cabo de gata' natural park.

I have just come back from Cartegena and it is full of historical sites and culture and a lovely place to visit. It has its own port and fantastic amphitheatre well worth the effort to gol

The Sierra Nevada mountains near Granada are worth a visit, both in summer and winter. The ski resort is one of the highest in Europe so in winter the sun can be very strong so take high factor sunscreen!

To enjoy the holidays with your family Spain is the best. Theme parks, fiestas, sports, countryside, culture, beaches... A host of fun, leisure ideas for all the family. I like to go on beaches. I think your plan is first going to Spain fantastic. Have a wonderful trip.
