My question is I used to stay in spain upto 2003,then I moved back to the uk.[bad move]. I am now thinking of returning to spain to live. Does my nie number I had Just stay the same or do I have to apply for a new one.

Hi, my understanding is that your NIE number is unique to you and stays with you for life - hope this helps
