    Default stolen items from luggage

    hi there
flew from malaga via madrid to tunis this week (5th jan), on arrival at my final destination i noticed that my luggage had been disturbed and that personal items had been removed from my luggage this included a 300 gig hard drive, a pair of headphones and of all things a copy of SUR in english, i would assume the thief must have used the paper to conceal the items, i have emailed my booking agent and air europa asking a way forward on reporting this ( as i assume that airports have a cctv system in place in the baggage handling section ) my booking agent says it may take 20 days to get a reply and aireuropa have failed to respond
does any one know a path forward ie a local authority or police i can report this to?? before it goes too far and how long do airports keep cctv footage for ??
i feel strongly about this as one trusts the airline to transport your luggage not have their employees take whatever they like and go un detected

Sorry cannot help you with your query it seems you have already reported to those I would have. I have been lucky to date and airlines have only managed to misplace one bag in 4 years of flying, not too bad for 20 countries in one year I reckon. I agree you do not expect to have your luggage interfered with in any way and those responisible should be brought to court and punished.
