When Iceland opened, it caused most of the so called English shops to close, as it could sell the same items at much cheaper prices...I suspect that now it has got rid of most ofthe competition, it's using that as an excuse for raising theirs.

Exactly.........probably had loads of loss leaders until the competitors got pushed out.....typical big boy tactics grrrrrrrrr
