Not what I have Heard

I decided to just checkout what we should know about our Gas bottles & should something go wrong (god forbid) where we covered by Insurance etc....
The Gas Appliance should be installed by an approved company/fitter, and if so, they will give you a certificate stating just what is "fitted" and where.
Repsol local office was the next call as the previous owner had left a couple of emptys.....
Yes your place is on the computer for 3 bottles (she said)
Well I now have four & this certificate (I said)
In that case we can offer you this service.........We can send an Inspector to check "all" appliances are OK (leak test, etc) and issue you with a certificate to that effect & for 50eu we will attend any call out in the price for 5 years if you detect a gas leak/or think gas is leaking (she said)
Done deal (I said)..... oh ! & I could do with another spare bottle BTW.
OK 5 is now entered for your property & the Inspector will call you soon (She said)
Man called & checked everything, found that one of the regulators was leaking on the portable gas fire (you know the ones) and replaced it with a Repsol one for 11eu.
Yes we have called them out & they arrived within a few hours and checked everything as stated for no charge (money well spent)

Movistar
Well coming from the UK we are used to a pretty aggressive mobile market/prices & what I did know from the UK was that Pay as you Go signal always took second place to Contract & Contract always took second place to Business Contract (just background info BTW)

Anyway.......
So newly arrived with unlocked phones we bought a couple of Movistar P asy Go S.I.Ms, soon got fed up with topping the buggers up & signed up for a family contract with both phones that have been running at around 16eu a month since (good few years)
But !
They have now changed to goal posts, so dial 609, an hour later after telling them to switch them back to P asy Go, they tell me about the offer that they can offer me (ears pick up)
Both phones, for one year, No Standing Charge, No Minimum, you just pay for the calls you make !
30cents from 0700-1700, 8cents from then until 0700 Sat/Sun 8cents all day.

OK I will have that ! (Time will Tell)

Hope you find this info of use.

Brian

PS will update some more another day (tiring this typing)
