Thumbs up Adapt association-San Pedro de Pinatar.

For anyone visiting or living in the San Pedro de Pinatar and wondering what there is to do, I would like to mention adaptsanpedro. They are a group of mainly Brits who meet together and do various activities, including helping the community. One that came to my notice is the environmental group..They have been working with staff at the salinas visitors centre, relocating nestboxes for the shellducks, making nest boxes for sand martins, refurbishing floatng platforms for terns and providing access ramps for ducklings. They have been involved in bird ringing, and removing sackfulls of rubbish from the park area...As well being involved in the Artemia project, reptile and chameleon survey and clearing invasive plants. Phew, Adapt meet at the Castelar college on the first saturday of each month at 11am. cafe open at 10am.

Have you come across them Jaz.
Having written this I noticed that the metal detecting club on another thread, is also part of adapt. with details.

Yes, I've heard of them they get involved in lots of local projects and have a number of clubs.

    Their President also teaches Spanish.

I quite fancied their upcoming Glam Rock event but unfortunately we're are Casa1 when it's on ;-)
Thinks that if all economists were laid end to end, they would not reach a conclusion
