Thread: Clubbing holiday! Where to go?

I'm planning a week vacation this summer in Spain and was wondering whats best... Ibiza, Mallorca, Barcelona... or perhaps somewhere else?

I know Ibiza is very big in clubs, but I heard great stuff about Mallorca and Barcelona aswell... I definitely want to spend a good few nights partying like no other, but then a day or two sightseeing and enjoying the beach I would love to do aswell...

Hiya mickeyblueeyes, welcome to the forums! I have personally been to all three of the places you mention and my personal favourite is, all of them No seriously, I think they are all great but it depends on the time of the year...

In Barcelona the best parties are from September - December
The clubbing in Ibiza is at its high from June - September
And in Mallorca similar to Ibiza

Apart from clubbing, I think Mallorca has the most to offer in terms of going places... Small bays, gorgeous beaches, mountains and "forests", etc... Barcelona has become somewhat too serious I think, the fun and the leisure is no longer what it used to be here! So unless you are coming for work or to live, I suggest choose between Mallorca and Ibiza!!!

They are very good clubs, with different styles...

It depends on what kind of music you prefere. If you are looking for clubs of dance music (house, techno, drum'n'bassk, chill out...) i'd definitely choose ibiza. However if you are looking for both indie and dance music clubs i'd choose barcelona. Have no idea about mallorca, sorry.

i think your best bets going to be Ibiza ive heard great things about it, my friend said it was amazing. he said the clubs were an all night long party!!!

Seriously, I am bemused by the absence of a circle for those of us who are appreciative of quality music. I am talking the Top 2,000 over the last three-hundred years: classical, orchestral; piano: just good music. Anyway, I am putting it right with the formation of the 'Friends of the Maestros' circle.
It isn't a minority interest. In the UK 7 million a week listen to Classic FM and BBC Radio 3. It's not for the po-faced either. Here's something that will (hopefully) make you smile.
In orchestras the percussionist section is often referred to as 'the kitchen department.' The more rude call them 'the bang gang.'

Hi Im a bit bias I would say Ibiza for a full on Clubbing experience Ive done all the other places and would always choose Ibiza. Everyday is different and nothing stays the same there is so much to do that one week is not always long enough . Dont get misled by the TV programs they only put stuff on to show a one sided view . A lot of the people on these programs are my friends , there is a lot more to Ibiza than you see . Let me know what you are into and hopefully i can help.

Ibiza has much better beaches than Mallorca, lived on both islands - mallorca is more grown-up but Ibiza rocks!
