This year our nisperos are very late and looking worse of the wear ! some fruit is almost ready but lots are still green and have black patches on them. Some of the ripening fruit has maroon coloured indentations on them which if I remember rightly they had last year but it did not affect the inside of the fruit.
Our plums are coming one BUT are mostly all affected by white almost powdery patches. Both trees seem to be healthy enough themselves and re at opposite end of the garden. I am wondering if it is a symptom of the wet and windt months earlier this year ?
Has anybody else got the same problems ? I live 12k west of Sevilla.
HELP please
Yes. I have two Nispero trees and the fruit is always very small and covered in black patches....as are the leaves. I have tried various sprays but it has been unsuccessful. I'm on the verge of cutting them down.
