Default Jet Skiing / Motos de Agua Mar Menor

I have lived in Spain for 22 years, owned a jetski for the last 10 years.
I used to go to the Mar Menor to ski, yesterday I went for a look around (not been there for 3 years) and found all the places where I used to launch a jetski have been closed off.
Does anybody know where you can launch a jetski from the San Pedro end of the Mar Menor coz I am stumped. I looked everywhere.
    Thanks

Hi Keith, I know one of the people down our road jet ski's as I've spied his jet ski outside his house ;-)) As I'm in the UK right now, let me drop him an email in order to find out where he launches from.

Perfecto Jaz, Much thanks. I have looked on the Spanish forums, and it seems the Spanish are just as confused as me, yet they have massive races and events on the mar menor.

Look what they found at La Manga last year Imageshack - dsc00238jm.jpg

    Ha ha ha......

I know there was a Tiger Shark that had to be escorted out of the Mar Menor some time in July/August 2008 (or maybe it was 2007), it made the local papers as it's so unusual to see a tiburón in our lake. Fortunately though, it was the La Manga side

I have found quite a few places to launch my jetyski now.

Okey dokey, probably just as well since the guy down our road has still not replied to my email (as you probably saw by my comments under pop in and say hello yesterday) ;-))

I wish you a successful launch and enjoy the sensation of racing around the Mar Menor ;-))
