Thread: Wireless TV Link

Right in simple easy understandable language, can someone give me some clues as to why the 2nd TV has no stations now ?

Neither TV have been changed. It worked last time we used it ( before my husbands death) Now I cannot get it to work. The green lights on both machines come on but I can't get any stations on the second one, I don't know how to re tune it either noir where to start troubleshooting ! shooting yes

They haven't switched off the analogico?
Do you have a digibox or Sky?

You say "wireless" Val, so maybe No2 TV is not conected properly to the wireless gizzmo ?

I have not touched the settings for TV 2 and checked all connections are fully connected. There is some sort of card in the main TV that apears to need to be changed soon ? Sky I believe.

Ignore the card (as on the other thread) as TV No1 is working & reciving (correct)
Get the remote for TV 2.
Click the menu button.
Look in either installation or set-up for Auto Scan !
Select auto scan and wait to see what if anything it finds.
Found the channels ?, store/save will keep them.
Nothing ?, in that case I think that it cannot see the WiFi unit for some reason.

Normally, If you are using a wireless TV link, then you have a transmitter / sender unit by the main (sky) box, that sends the signals to the receiver box near your 2nd TV, all via SCART cables.

So, assuming box sender and trasnmitter are turned on, and connected properly, you may have to select the AV / SCART input on the second TV (using the AV / SOURCE button on the RCU) as some of these transmitters do not automatically switch the TV to the correct input.

If you are using sender / receiver units, most of the connect to the TV via scart cables, so scanning, as mention in the previous post, will not do anything.

If you are using sender / receiver units, ensure that they are using the same frequencies....they normally have swicthes on the back that determine which of 3 or 4 frequencies they use - make sure these are set tot he same frequency.

Okay transmitter/sender both light up, connenctions on sender been checked but not on transmitter yet. It has been some time since it was used but to my knowledge nothing has been changed.

I cannot see AV/Source button on remote what might it have on button ? I will look for manual today.

I will climb up again ( watching my head this time ) and check the frequencies.

Or Input, or a box with an arrow indicating an input.
