Well its the Bank of Englands fault.
"The £5 note is set for a New Year comeback across UK cash machines after the Bank of England said it would launch a campaign to increase its circulation".
"Mr Bailey said the Bank had drafted in HSBC and supermarket Sainsbury's to issue more £5 notes".
Everyone is going to HSBC to get fivers for shopping at Sainsbury's which means all telephone lines are jammed.

The really annoying thing is - it is OK today
This is the second or third time it has happened - think I'm going to follow Greg's advice and scrap yahoo completely. They are getting too much like MS - they get an idea to revamp something in the name of 'improvement' and it ends up ten times worse than before.
I had a problem with Yahoo email the other day when it would send the email before I finished it. This problem resolved itself in 24 hours.
Lordy what is up with Yahoo today ! the pages won't change, they stick when half way through typing replies, sometimes would not open mail at all nor allow me to reply at all. GGRRRRRRRRR
