I prefer to use the 24 hour clock but it is even more off-putting to see a PM time given as, for example, 03:15 pm instead of 3:15 pm |

Hi Beachcomber have you checked the User CP?
I will look into it and let you know what options you have if you don't find anything.

Yes, I have. The time zone can be changed as can the DST setting but I can find no facility to change the time and date format.

Hows this? It's now 24 hour time.
If nobody else complains I will leave at this for now. However, especially for Americans 24 hour time is very hard to understand... Unfortunately I cannot configure any other way... 3:15 PM isn't an option in PHP variables...

Yes, much better. Many thanks. I can now look at the clock without thinking it is twelve hours adrift. However, can this board not be formatted according to these conventions:
PHP: date - Manual On 'the other' forum I was talking about each user can configure the time and date format according to his own preferences. Anyway, it's not really important. I am happy with 24 hour time if everyone else is. |

You know I have to agree, I am surprised each user can't configure this individually. I will look into it. But if you are happy now, thats great I'm glad I could be of help then
