Thread: Life doesn't have to be a struggle

Hi from Canada. I am a business owner and lover of all that is Spanish. Despite the recession, my business is good, and life is good. I am just starting to learn spanish as my company has just launched it's spanish edition. We have just expanded to the Latin American countries. Any tips for doing business in Latin America???

How is that explaining your business, Linda?

Don't get me wrong, if you have something interesting to contribute or a feasible business model to show us, I'll be more than happy to give a more constructive approach, but up to now all you are doing here is (and on your website):

a) Big talk about living a success...
b) Big talk about substantial income...
c) Big talk about the crisis not affecting you...

You know what they say, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

Oh and not to mention that it is all portrayed in a manner similar to hundreds of thousands of ponzy schemes, MLM schemes, or spam work from home "offers"....

If you have something to share or explain, go ahead - stop beating around the bush and talking the talk!

I was purposely vague to be careful not to promote/advertise my business on your forum as this is not cool/permitted on most forums. I originally came on to this site for information on doing business in Spain. I would be happy to provide more information on your forum if it is not going against the rules. If so, I will provide the basics of my business and if people are serious about starting their own business, I will suggest they contact me through my website. I talk one-on-one with people so that I may weed out those who are not really serious and those who are just too skeptical to believe in the opportunity. That way, I don't waste their time or mine. And yes, I know there are a lot of scams out there. One has to be very careful. My company is based on integrity and I stand by that. Let me know if it's cool to provide more info and a contact and I gladly will. Thanks Greg.

You can look into the guidelines to see what's acceptable here and what not, if you want to actually promote your business you can sign up for a VIP membership and post more details in the Market Place...

But back to the point....

What I was talking about was explaining your business model.

If I run my own fashion label and sell the clothes through department stores, then it's explained as simply as that. You mentioned "personal development" - so are you a business coach?

You were just being secretive in a way which is not appreciated on here and a way which is like I said, generally used to make people fall for scams and for big [empty] promises - something our community doesn't appreciate either.

So again, if you have something to explain, go ahead and be clear about it, if you want to promote your business post in the market place, and if you prefer keeping your business to yourself then let's change subject
