Hi, i need some advice....my friend would like to take over a business from somebody.
It's a traspaso, what is the legal way to do it?. Just a new lease contract? do they need to sign at the notary?

Signing a new lease will give you "ownership" of the lease.
The license, debts, obligations and assets is something separate.
I suggest you go to a "gestoria" to get the right advice depending on the type of business you will buy.
