Default Courier/ Parcel Delivery Within Spain

      Hi,

I run a e commerce business in the UK and am currently working on bringing it over to Spain.
Can anyone advise me of the most reliable/ cost effective courier service to use for deliveries within Spain or even ones to avoid.

      Many thanks!

Hi, I to run e commerce business. We have a few good courier services here. I am using NACEX at the moment, dont ever leave the house, fill there forms in on computor, they collect my parcels and deliver next day for just 4,52 a large plastic bag that you can put anything in up to 2 kgs.
The spanish postal system within spain is also excellent, its about 6,50 for any size as long as the weight is less than 2kg.
Other local couriers are SEUR, international are UPS and TNT.

      Hi ELJEFE,

      Thanks for your reply.

Will definately look into these. We sell soft furnishings (curtains, bedding, towels) so some of our parcels can be heavy.
Would be ideal to have deliveries collected rather than take them to the post office (parking in Calpe is not too easy!)
Just out of interest , what PSP do you use?

      Cheers!

I can really recommend NACEX then. look them up on google. Using them for a year never let me down. Dont want to sound dumb (too many years in spain) PSP is Preferred Selling Point?

      Thanks ELJEFE ,

Sorry to get techie! - Its Payment Service Provider. We use Sagepay in the UK to collect card payments from our site. I know Solbank offer this service but maybe PAYPAL would be easier.

      Regards.

I use paypal, it's been so easy, charges are a bit high but I pass them on to clients on postage charges.
If you really get going it is very easy in Spain to have your own credit card machine from a bank. And process payments yourself.
I make most of my money 90% by selling my products to the Spanish. So all my adverts are in Spanish.
