How about we create our own business network ... online ?
I did some research into "webinar / webconferencing " technology a while back and it seems an ideal solution to create online meetings. Participants can give presentations in real-time about their business , upcoming events or items of interest. Other participants can follow the presentation, then comment / ask questions via text messages or microphone. The one I use offers up to 20 people in a meeting free of charge. It would need a "meeting co-ordinator" who has overall control of the meeting.
If enough people are up for the idea, I´m more than happy to set it up to see if it works!!

Great idea. Keep me informed. We're also going to be looking into webinar technology for giving online workshops etc.

I am a member of B2B Espana. A fantastic group with a lot of business and referals within. I conduct a lot of my business from within the group. There is e meeting every 2 weeks and I am always happy to invite genuine business networkers as my guest. Based on the CDS there are meetings in Marbella, Mijas Costa and very soon Estepona. Mail me if you would like to try!

Thumbs up The latest Big One

6 months ago Networking to me was a site that I went to talk to friends back in the UK. Both my children are constantly talking to friends here and old friends from the past. My youngest arranges her Saturday night out online, finding out where everyone will be and what time they are going to meet etc.
Even what they are going to ware, yes I know it is sad...
I decided to do some homework here in regards to my business and how it may benefit me. In the last 3 months i now have a Facebook page and i am in the process of Twitter. Got to say, I don’t like Myspace too much.
A client bought to my attention Peoplestring and recommended it highly.
It was free so I thought "what the hell, I can always cancel"..
I was gob smacked; this has bought social networking into a different level.
I have 5 email accounts, 3 are synchronized however it is time consuming for me to check them all day. They gave me a website and every email host that I am with and main social network sites are under one interface. I just sign in and no more opening different pages, I can even send messages to all from one place. I can login to my Facebook and twitter from the same interface. The big name sites seem to forget we are human and not just a money making entity. Another first for Peoplestring it pays you to use it. I would not say it is for everyone, mostly for businesses contacts or people who are looking for a new business venture. Or people like me who are too lazy to open loads of pages.
What amazes me most is that no one else has picked up on the idea that we are the users of such site and made the support more supportive to the users. Facebook is terrible, you send a mail to support and you never get an answer. With Peoplestring you even get your own coach so if any problems arise like you lose mail and cant retrieve it for example, the coach is there personal to you. The videos explain how to use the site and for business it is awesome.
I will say one thing. Social networking sites such as Absolute Spain are more casual so you feel more at home and especially here the support is instant. I now find myself coming back here more than i did before just to see what is going on, so friendliness works better for me

Default It already exists

Peoplestring is a social network site for business people or for those who are looking for new business ventures. It is also global.

Default Not for me

I am no longer a member of peoplestring.
It seems to me that if you do not use their site as your browser they delete you. I have made 5 attempts to ask why I can not log in and I have received no reply.

Common courtesy seems to be laking.

So it does not come recommended by me.
