Red face Market stall supplies

Hi there one and all,
The name is Mike 50yrs and had enough of the fast (UK) lane.
Just joined today after reading all the great post and useful information, and lets be honest there`s no substitute for local knowledge after all.

It is my intention after having made several trips to the sun to re-locate and cut my stress levels.

I have been running various market stalls in UK for the last 4 years, happy to make a living not a fortune.
I have been selling costume jewellery of all descriptions, a variety of quality belts, knick knacks for the kids (cheaper toys, sunglasses etc.) not very adventurous I know.. sorry.

I wonder if anybody could help/advise me on supply chains, cash & carry, trade fairs or dealers in Spain, it is my intention to move to San Pedro del Pinatar so I would be looking in the areas Murcia/Torrevieja.

I have done a little import/export myself from time to time, legally I hasten to add, and if absolutely necessary I could import items myself, though as I said lets cut the stress levels and buy it local if possible.
I really would appreciate any help, tips or websites from people in the know.

Mike

Hi Mike J, Welcome. Just like the UK there are many many wholesale outlets. Once you have an NIE number the are many that will be able to supply you. Just near San Pedro on way to Orihuela there are many wholesalers called Biscuitarias, (no they dont sell bicuits) the sell cheap jewellary sunglasses and are mainly chinese importers. Best of luck.
