There a lots of ways of finding someone special but the first rule is to get out of the house because they won´t come knocking on your door.
Try getting involved in some clubs, group activities or voluntary work where you can meet people with similar interests, a good starting point for any possible relationship.
If you try to stick with expat women you will be narrowing your options considerably. On top of that, spanish women are beautiful and are more approachable purely because spanish are more sociable than most expats. Anyway, i hope it all goes well and if all else fails, head to a nightclub, have some dutch courage and just walk up to a woman and say "Hi".
