Better late than never I suppose but I can't help wondering if this initiative is too little too late. Spain or rather the Costas have acquired a well deserved tawdry image. I have been banging on about it for long enough but will they listen? No! You can't fix stupid.
The bars and strips of most resorts; commercial centres too are Circa 1950s Rhyl, Blackpool and Whitley Bay. Their clientele tatooed knuckle-shufflers whose sole purpose in life is to live down to the Neanderthal imagery of your archetypical Brit.
Britain has moved on in some respects; so have attitudes and watering hole ambience. The corner pub is dead; so are the plastic dives stuffed with screens. The wine bars are doing very well. Try finding one here. A lost cause.
