It is worrying. where are the other cases in Spain??
News has gone a bit quiter on that front in the UK as the MP's expences seem to have taken over the news. I guess we are just not hearing what is going on at the moment.
It is a constant worry all these epedemics I dont think the public will ever really know what going on or how serious it all gets untill it is to late!!

Unfortunately we live in a world dominated by media that doesn't always inform solely on facts, let alone reasearch properly the underlying caues.... Especially not about truly important things... Not much difference to propaganda 20, 40, 60 years ago...It is a constant worry all these epedemics I dont think the public will ever really know what going on or how serious it all gets untill it is to late!!

The media have shut up about it because they've realised it's not the doomsday scenario that they were making it out to be!
141 deaths out of nearly 28000 confirmed cases worldwide is hardly cause for major concern especially when you consider that normal flu kills up to half a million people every year. And the majority of the swine flu deaths occurred in Mexico and the USA. It appears to be a mild illness in most cases and is treatable.
We have now had a death in Scotland too

The news are blasting out swine flu warnings now. Airports are having infared heat sensor cameras installed. Uk is in a far worse (10x more) position than spain.
